One of the friendly Starbucks I've been too. The staff is always so nice and helpful with me putting money on my gift cards. The drinks are just like every other one you go too but the service is why I keep coming back to this one. And service is always a big thing for me.

Can't complain here as the workers are always sincere. I came in with friends once, at night, about ten minutes before closing and we all asked for frappucinos. The employees were probably annoyed but they didn't physically show it, and our drinks were delicious. I come and hang out here sometimes in the spring and summer to read or get work done. It's not the biggest area though; more for grabbing a drink and leaving. You sometimes feel like you're on top of another person. The outdoor seating is nice when it's warm, and it's not right next to Jimmy John's or the Taco Bell drive thru lane; there are some blockades which provide privacy overall. Good location off a busy part of Van Dyke.

This is a disappointing Starbucks. I used to work there when it opened in 2005, and There's barely a resemblance to what it used to be. The drinks are not very good; maybe 50% of the time they taste like they should. It doesn't seem like the baristas are held to the same standards they used to be, so there is no consistency. Some don't even know what a wet cappuccino is, or that a cappuccino is not a latte. There are rarely the same people there, so it doesn't seem stable. There is no soul, no warmth in this store.

Pretty cool Starbucks. Don't know why people hate it on yelp! They have good service and every barista is nice and helpful. Great location. Pretty good outside seating. It gets loud every once in a while during rush hours.

One of my favorite Starbucks locations. Staff is always friendly. Coffee always tastes good. Store is always clean. My only complaint... The music is always too loud. So much so, it's hard to have a conversation. When I come here to catch up on homework I always bring ear plugs.

I don't like most of their coffees. I like the skinny versions of the seasonal ones for some reason. Everything else is kind of blah.

My Sister works at this Starbucks, so I have to give it a 5 star review. I tried giving a Starbucks she worked at in Norfolk less than 5 stars and she was very cross at me. Having said that, this Starbucks really IS weird, as other reviewers have mentioned. It's attached to a Jimmy Johns and I'm not even sure SHE is sure which Drive-Thru is for which. She does say she often gets JJ orders, and I'm sure JJ gets Starbucks orders. I do know that she very much enjoys working at Starbucks and says she treats customers as well as they treat her. I guess before some people get their coffee in the morning there is plenty of unhappiness. Be nice to your Barista, and I promise she (or he!) will be nice back.

This is my favorite starbucks! The morning crew is by far the best! They always get my order perfect and sometimes give a lil extra. But the afternoon crew needs a lil work. be prepared to wait and repeat your order. But I do Love that morning crew!

The interior of this store is a little weird. It's small-ish and not particularly comfortable for hunkering down to get your study on. It's not completely unmanageable, but you probably shouldn't plan to meet with a bunch of other classmates or coworkers here. The service, though? Its consistently good. I come through this drive thru ALL the time. My drinks are always spot-on and I get through lickety split. What more do you need?

Well lets start off and say I am surprised this Starbucks isn't reviewed. This is a pretty decent sized Starbucks and it is located at 16 and Van Dyke and has a drive through. This is my go-to Starbucks! I am sold with the convenience of the drive-thru. This store has about 6 or 7 tables out in the back to sit out at for the summer and about 8 tables inside. It always seems to be busy here. Also this place is attached to a Jimmy Johns. Which seems pretty convenient, I see a lot of people drinking their coffee and eating a sub! Not much to say about the drinks it is all the same everywhere! But if you want my 2 cents then get the Iced Passion fruit tea, it is refreshing and just perfect for the summer!

I love Starbucks, but this location sucks. The people are so rude. I frequent this location a lot too, at least 2-3 times a week. I order the same thing every time and every person charges me a different price. On a recent visit I ordered my usual iced drink, and they REPEATED my order back to me and it was correct. I pull up to the window and she hands me a hot drink. I said this is supposed to be iced. She rudely turns to the barista who added maybe 10 ice cubes to it and hands me back my drink in the HOT CUP. Seriously, the people at this location are not nice and so extremely rude.

It's not easy to find a drive through Starbucks and I was so glad when I saw this one because I was on the road! So I got my favorite strawberry frappuccino in less than 5 minutes. Nice drive through feature.

This Starbucks location is a little strange. The cafe is half of a building (the other half being Jimmy John's) which makes it a very narrow and long space. The drive-through window is perfect for the afternoons you're shopping at Meijer or just feel like cruising up/down Van Dyke. I always stop in and grab the free iTunes download cards (Despite rumors, you don't actually have to purchase anything to get these). There are several small tables and a few chairs in the seating area. In nice weather, there is additional seating and parking in the rear of the building. The staff is nice, the store is clean and for the most part calm. Since there is a drive-through, most people don't actually come in, which means there always seems to be room on the weekends.

I have been through the drive thru several times, and both times I had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at any Starbucks. The first time, I ordered an iced drink. I get to the window, and the partner hands me a hot version of the same drink. I said "oh, I thought I asked for it iced", 100% certain that I did. He then spat back "no, you didn't. But I'll remake it anyway". Um....ok. You made a mistake, don't blame it on the customer. The second time, the girl at the window was very short with me, and she had on gross chipped nail polish, which I know is against company policy to wear any nail polish at all. What added to the negative experience was that there was a dead bird laying in the middle of the drive thru path. Yum!!

THIS IS MY FAVORITE STARBUCKS - solely based on its staff. There is a very small turn-over with the staff at this location and as a frequenter of several Starbucks I can say that this makes a huge difference in the atmosphere they create. They are always extremely friendly and warm. Whenever I am in the area I try to stop in, even if I don't NEED a fix. The location is great and they have a drive-thru. I definitely recommend this location to anyone who requires good customer service to enjoy their daily Joe.
